On 12 October 1933, Florence passed her flying test and received her PPL, making her the 34th female pilot in Canada. She was 28 years old.

On 6 December 1933, Florence married George Albert Hall. George had been married before (to Henrietta Jane Milliken at “one of the largest and most brilliant church weddings ever solemnized in Houlton” in 1918, just before he entered the military) but was divorced by 1931.
The couple moved to Maine, where they had twin boys and George had a successful business career.

Note: Florence was listed with an asterisk in No Place for a Lady – meaning the author hadn’t been able to find her. I just had “F.E. Lundon” and the date of her PPL.
