Why?

One of my non-drawing hobbies is genealogy – with the aim of building up a family tree for my daughter. I started one years ago, but I fell down the “blindly accept everything you find on Ancestry” hole and ended up with a large, but unproven mess!

In late 2020, I started a new tree from scratch and I’m only adding information that I can properly prove. It’s slow going but much more satisfying.

As well as my own tree, I’ve also done some research about other people – initially when I found a plaque or sign that intrigued me, but isn’t easily found on Google.
