Hugh Vanderveen (1920-1945)

Hugh Ledgerwood Vanderveen was born on 31 May 1920 in Vancouver, BC to Hugh Woodruff Vanderveen (an American missionary) and Minnie Ellena Agerta.

Hugh died on 29 July 1944, aged 24. He was previously reported missing after air operations, but was later officially declared dead.
