James Middleton (1888-1917)

James Russell Middleton was born on 24 January 1888 in Toronto, Ontario, to George Hodgkins Middleton and Nannie Hester Hazelton.

He was a Flight Lieutenant and had to do a forced landing behind German lines. He was several wounded and died in Mulheim am Ruhr Hospital on 21 June 1917, aged 29.
