James Redpath (1891-1916)
James Bean Redpath was born on 10 May 1891 in Old Monkland, Lanarkshire, Scotland, to George Redpath (Sub-Inspector of Police) and Margaret Bean.

James served four years with the 8th Highlanders, then moved to Port Coquitlam, where he was a carpenter. He enlisted on 29 February 1916 and served as a Private with the 72nd Battalion.
