Walter Wigmore (1884-1917)
Walter John Wigmore was born on 26 June 1884 in Laskay, Ontario, to Walter Wigmore and Mary Smith.

By the 1911 census, Walter and James had moved together to Richmond, and were carpenters (and lodging together). James got married in 1914 and stayed in Ontario, while Walter moved on to Port Coquitlam.
Walter enlisted on 28 January 1916 and stated that he was a member of the 104th Regiment and had served two years with the 4th Royal Berks. He also named James as his next-of-kin.

Walter was found drowned in a shell hole in No Man’s Land in France on 15 November 1917, aged 33.
