Albert Howard Spinks was born on 14 June 1925 in Manitoba to Gordon Floyd Spinks and Gladys Evelyn Shanks. He was killed in air operations on 29 May 1944, aged 18.
Clarence Wellington Tran was born on 3 November 1909 in Simcoe, Ontario, to Frank Wellington Tran and Minnie Cummings. He was killed in action in Belgium on 7 October 1944, aged 34.
Ferdinand Adam Treichel was born on 17 December 1910 to Paul Treichel and Catherina Braumberger. He died on 13 January 1943 at Shaughnessy Hospital in Vancouver, due to malignant hypertension, nephritis and pericarditis.
Hugh Ledgerwood Vanderveen was born on 31 May 1920 in Vancouver, BC to Hugh Woodruff Vanderveen and Minnie Ellena Agerta. He died on 29 July 1944, aged 24.
Joe Zappia was born on 7 December 1922 in Port Coquitlam, BC. He followed in his father’s footsteps to work as a Section Man for the CPR. Joe was killed in action in France on 9 June 1944, aged 21.
